एमपी के करीब 70 हजार टीचरों को शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (TET) से राहत दिलाने स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका लगाएगा। विभाग का तर्क है कि साल 2005 से 2009 के बीच भर्ती हुए शिक्षकों ने पहले ही सरकारी चयन परीक्षा पास कर नौकरी हासिल की थी, इसलिए उन्हें दोबारा पात्रता परीक्षा देने के लिए बाध्य नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। यदि सुप्रीम कोर्ट यह दलील स्वीकार करता है, तो हजारों शिक्षकों को राहत मिल सकती है।

The School Education Department will file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking relief for approximately 70,000 teachers in Madhya Pradesh from the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The department argues that teachers recruited between 2005 and 2009 had already secured their jobs by passing a government selection examination; therefore, they should not be compelled to take the eligibility test again. If the Supreme Court accepts this argument, thousands of teachers could get relief.
