The decisions made by the Employee Selection Board (ESB) and officials stationed at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) have left candidates in a state of anxiety. We state this because the ESB released the results for the Sub-Inspector and Subedar recruitment main examination as recently as May 18. Now, just 17 days later, the board is scheduled to commence the physical tests starting June 5. Given this mere 17-day preparation window—coupled with the prevailing scorching heat—opposition to this move has begun to mount.
