Let us discuss an examination that was conducted under the old set of rules; however, for reasons unknown, certain individuals decided to approach the High Court—a move that has left the examination stalled even a year later. We are referring to the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission's State Service Examination (Mains) 2025. The Examination Rules of 2015 are applicable to this recruitment process. Consequently, the examination has remained on hold for the past year due to petitions filed to challenge these very rules. On the other hand, the General Administration Department has now notified the new Examination Rules of 2026 with the aim of implementing a single-examination system.
