Khajuraho के वामन मंदिर का मामला | खंडित मूर्ति को लेकर लगी थी याचिका

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मंगलवार को खजुराहो समूह के जवारी मंदिर में भगवान विष्णु की सात फुट लंबी खंडित प्रतिमा को फिर से स्थापित करने की मांग वाली याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए इसे खारिज कर दिया। चीफ जस्टिस डी.वाई. गवई और जस्टिस ऑगस्टिन जॉर्ज मसीह की बेंच ने कहा कि ये मामला पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग (ASI) के अधिकार क्षेत्र में आता है।

The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition seeking the restoration of a seven-foot-tall broken statue of Lord Vishnu at the Javari temple in the Khajuraho group of temples. A bench of Chief Justice D.Y. Gavai and Justice Augustine George Christ said the matter fell within the jurisdiction of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
