साल 2012 में ट्रांसपोर्ट विभाग ने कांस्टेबल के 332 पदों के लिए भर्ती निकाली थी।.. इस भर्ती में 100 पद सिर्फ महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए रिजर्व रखे गए थे।.. अनुसूचित जाति, 20 अनुसूचित जनजाति और 15 ओबीसी वर्ग की महिलाओं के लिए पोस्ट रिजर्व थी...भर्ती की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने पर ये सामने आया कि सिर्फ 8 महिला अभ्यर्थी ही परीक्षा के लिए एलिजिबल पाई गईं।.. ऐसे में विभाग ने महिलाओं की जो पोस्ट खाली रह गई... उसमें पुरुष उम्मीदवारों की नियुक्ति कर दी...
