छत्तीसगढ़ में हुए कथित कोयला परिवहन घोटाला मामले में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल के बेटे चैतन्य बघेल की मुश्किलें बढ़ती हुई दिखाई दे रही हैं। यह मामला अब नए और सनसनीखेज मोड़ पर आ गया है।
आर्थिक अपराध शाखा (EOW) ने अदालत में एक बड़ा दावा करते हुए कहा है कि इस पूरे सिंडिकेट के प्रमुख व्यक्ति सूर्यकांत तिवारी के साथ चैतन्य बघेल का हिसाब-किताब को लेकर गंभीर झगड़ा हुआ था। यह दावा इस ओर इशारा करता है कि चैतन्य बघेल इस कथित घोटाले की गतिविधियों और उसके वित्तीय लेनदेन में सीधे तौर पर शामिल थे। EOW का यह बयान चैतन्य बघेल के खिलाफ जांच को और मजबूती देता है, खासकर तब जब वह पहले से ही कथित शराब घोटाला मामले में न्यायिक हिरासत में हैं।
हालांकि, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने इन आरोपों को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया है। उन्होंने सीधे तौर पर अदालत और एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो (ACB) के बीच सांठ गांठ होने का गंभीर आरोप लगाया है। बघेल का दावा है कि राजनीतिक दुर्भावना के चलते उन्हें और उनके परिवार को झूठे मामलों में फंसाया जा रहा है, और जांच एजेंसियां सत्ता के दबाव में काम कर रही हैं।
